The HSG Best Talents Programme is unique in Switzerland and supports outstanding and committed students across all Master’s degree programmes. With financial support and a tailored accompanying programme, we attract and develop the specialists and leaders of tomorrow.

Together with you - our donors and funding partners - we strengthen both Switzerland as a business location and the University of St.Gallen. We attract the most capable and dedicated students, support them in realising their full potential, encourage them to take on responsibility in business and society, and involve them as committed alumni in shaping the future of HSG.

Enrichment through Scholarship

The HSG Best Talents Programme

The HSG values “holistic, committed, and collaborative” form the foundation of this programme. What makes it unique is the promotion of initiative and engagement in collaboration with strategic partners, exclusive access to the HSG community of students, faculty, and alumni, and the combination of financial support with personalized guidance.

For a sustainable future, we rely on top-tier, responsible professionals and leaders. The HSG Best Talents Programme aims to attract outstanding young individuals from across Europe to pursue their Master's studies at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and make them available to the business world:

Attracting the best talent for our economic landscape
Each year, up to 45 exceptional Master's students (holding a Bachelor's degree with excellent grades and above-average extracurricular engagement) are selected for the Excellence Programme. They enrol in one of our 15 Master's programmes.
Developing and challenging talent
The programme challenges these talents by assigning them responsibility in extracurricular projects and initiatives at HSG and, where possible, with our funding partners (e.g., case studies, internships). A scholarship (covering tuition fees and providing 10,000 CHF for living expenses for 3 semesters) motivates and supports these talents to study at HSG and achieve outstanding results.
Early access to an excellent network
The talents gain early access to the HSG, HSG Foundation, HSG Alumni network, and our funding partners. They enjoy exclusive access to influential figures in business and society. We are building an HSG community of exceptional Master's graduates who serve as HSG ambassadors.
