Create a free will template
Create the will template based on your personal circumstances. Let the system calculate the statutory shares and your discretionary portion, and decide who you would like to include in your will. To ensure you have access to your document at all times, an account will be created for you automatically to safeguard your data. You will receive all the information you need on how to use the service by email.
From the draft to a valid will
To ensure that the document you have drawn up is legally valid, it is essential that you copy out the will template in full by hand (holographic will) and add the date and your signature. The electronic template is not legally valid. If in doubt, consult a notary or solicitor.
Where should I keep my will?
Deposit the document with the relevant cantonal authority, with a notary or a solicitor you trust, or in an easily accessible place in your home. You can amend your will at any time. Please note: The most recent (latest) will is valid, provided it revokes earlier wills in whole or in part or amends their content. Earlier wills may remain partially valid if the new one does not replace them entirely or relates to different matters. If in doubt, consult a notary or solicitor.
