Michael Domeisen, Managing Director of the HSG Foundation, will take up a new position as Head of the Office of Economy and Tourism of the Canton of Graubünden from March 1, 2026. Until his move, he will remain Managing Director of the HSG Foundation.
"We greatly value Mr. Domeisen both professionally and personally and regret his decision to leave the HSG Foundation. With great commitment, he has laid important foundations for the further development of the Foundation. We must now build on this," says Dr. Paul Achleitner, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. In cooperation with the HSG Foundation's administrative office, the Board of Trustees is already actively planning a successor and will provide information in due course.
"We would like to thank Michael today for his substantial contribution so far and know that he will continue to show his full commitment to the Foundation and thus to the HSG in the remaining months. I am convinced that we will remain in good contact in his new role at the Canton of Graubünden," says Dr. Urs Landolf, Delegate of the Board of Trustees.
Michael Domeisen has managed the operational business of the HSG Fondation since 2023. He put his heart and soul into successfully promoting the Foundation and the strategic goals of the University of St.Gallen (HSG). Important funding projects, such as the "HSG Best Talents" excellence scholarship program and the "HSG Best Founders" entrepreneurship funding program, were financed and launched during this time and the Foundation's network within and outside the HSG was established and expanded.
